Privacy Policy
Escapade is an iOS app that makes bouncing-ball simulation videos. This policy explains what the app does with information, in plain terms. The short version: the app works entirely on your device, has no accounts, and collects no personal data.
What the app collects
Nothing. Escapade does not collect, store or transmit personal information, usage analytics, device identifiers, location, contacts or anything else about you. There is no sign-up and no account.
What stays on your device
- Saved sims, settings and captions are stored in the app's own folder on your iPhone. Deleting the app deletes them.
- Exported videos are written to the app's cache until you save them to Photos or share them. Saving to Photos asks for add-only permission, which lets the app add videos but not read your library.
- Imported files (such as MIDI or audio you choose from Files) are read only to render your sim and are not sent anywhere.
Purchases
Escapade Pro is sold through Apple's in-app purchase system. Apple handles payment and receipts under Apple's privacy policy. To recognise your purchase across reinstalls, the app uses RevenueCat, a subscription service, which receives a random app-generated identifier and Apple's transaction information. It does not receive your name, email or Apple ID. RevenueCat's handling of that data is described in its privacy policy. You can restore purchases at any time from Settings in the app.
Seed codes and links
A seed code describes a simulation's settings so someone else can replay it. It contains no personal information. Sharing a code or a video is your choice and goes through the apps you share to.
Children
The app is rated 4+ and collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
